TecHKnow Wiki is about building and sharing knowledge – We are making an open invitation for UK Science & Technology Technicians who work in School Science to engage & participate in building and sharing their knowledge! Over the next few months we are planning to review this area of the TecHKnow website to identify what changes we can make in order to make it easier for you to contribute articles as well as trying to encourage more colleagues to actually contribute. So we are keen to listen to anything that you wish to say about the TecHKnow wiki. If you are registered with the Wiki then please join in the discussion by entering the discussion page which is on the menu toolbar at the top of the wiki web page. Alternatively we welcome any comments to our email address website@techknow.org.uk Getting StartedThe following links are useful for those getting started with the TecHKnow Wiki.
HelpIf looking for specific information, try using the search box to the left. Alternatively, use Google's "site" search feature by appending site:http://www.techknow.org.uk/wiki/index.php?title=TecHKnow_Wiki to search terms e.g. site:http://www.techknow.org.uk/wiki/index.php?title=TecHKnow_Wiki - search this site for "Buffers"]). Remember, you must create an account to edit or create any article here on this wiki. Once done, you can play around in the Sandbox or your user page to familiarize yourself with how TecHKnow Wiki works. Finally, if all else fails, don't get disheartened. You are strongly encouraged to ask for any help across on our TecHKnow Forums Community area were there are many experienced colleagues that are only too willing to help you create or develop your first (of hopefully many) articles |
