Question fixed eye wash stations

3 years 4 months ago #39442 by joyce
In case anyone else is confronted with a built in eye wash which has been set off and is flooding the place and doesn't want to get soaking wet sorting it out.

I got a large density can and turned it upside down over the eyewash. I was then able hold onto the eyewash and used the can to direct the eyewash into the sink, I could then reach inside and turn the thing off. Thought someone else might find this useful. I'm seriously thinking of putting a density can in every lab just for this purpose
