Question Strange/vague requests

1 year 2 weeks ago - 1 year 2 weeks ago #41469 by prometheus
These topics often come up again and again here but today has just made me want to resurrect this again.

I got a vague request for a metals + acid experiment. Not being sure if it was different lengths of magnesium or different metals to test with acid or indeed what acid or concentration or anything I asked the teacher for clarification.

They legit read back to me what they had written on the requisition form

It's right up there with the time I was asked for a "Big A3 Sheet". Not a small A3 sheet or a regular sized one cos that'd be ridiculous but a Big A3 Sheet. i think I asked them if it needed to be landscape or portrait.

What are your most ridiculous moments with requisitions?

Very easy answer. By coincidence, this happened earlier today.
Teacher: Can I have 13 microscopes for Onion Cell viewing on Wednesday morning for a Junior Class?
Me: No
Teacher: Why not?
Me: because we have only 12 microscopes here.
Teacher: But I need 13, its a big class
Me: Well you will simply have to get one person to share.
Teacher: Is it possible;e to get another microscope maybe from another School for Wednesday?
Me: No
Teacher: I really cannot be dealing with this stress?
Me: I understand your point of view exactly.
