Without registering what information is collected?
Upon connecting to the website, a single session cookie will be set. This cookie is required so the web server knows to which connected web session to send the data your browser requested. This cookie expires when the browsing session ends.
During this process the website will log what resource your computer has accessed, if any errors have occurred while performing the request and from what network address.
Web browsers report what is called a "User-Agent" from which we may also be able to determine your browser version, screen resolution, operating system and device type.

Why are you telling me this?
On May 25th May 2011 in the United Kingdom, the EU Cookie directive came into force. The aim of this legislation is to increase online security and data privacy, giving users more control over what data can be held about them. It addresses concerns with how personal information is held and used.
Websites use one or more cookies for them to function correctly and TecHKnow is no exception. Cookies on TecHKnow are necessary for the websites operation. Depending on how you interact with the website performing actions such as logging in to the website or wiki, selecting remember me checkbox on the login page, all may set a cookie to support the operation of those functions. The majority will be session cookies, however features such as remember me due to necessity will place a long term cookie to enable that function to work. We may also add or trial new features which may place a cookie to support the operation of that feature.
We do not display content from ad-tracking networks or share your details with them.
